With the creation of the Venturing program in 1998, the National Sea Scout Committee requested that "SEA SCOUTS, BSA" pocket strips be made available. In the middle of 1999, the Supply Division started selling the new pocket strips, but the wording was "SEA SCOUTING BSA". These strips were withdrawn and replaced with strips that read "SEA SCOUTS, BSA" in the middle of 2000. |
